Sheep Reproduction .
To increase organic growth, we have increased the local production post the recent drought which wiped 80% of sheep/goats in Somali and Somaliland. In this farm a steady increase were observed in the last 2 years and currently heading to 350 heads.
Animal compound
A metal structure to withstand local condition. This space is enough to hold 1000 sheep. It consists of many compartments to isolate different age groups
Land preparation
40 hectare land ready for farming. The water well drilling has just finished and tested with 25m3/h flow rate. The fencing is underway expected to arrive soon in Berbera port.
Orange and Lemon Trees
Imported oranges from Egypt, these are almost 1 to 2 years old and are kept in nursery. The first group is ready (3000 plants). This is the first phase for the 40 hectare land
Pancum Maximum
First tests of Pancum maximum is successful in Burco and 4 hectare are planned in the near future.
